New Computer Case

Friday, December 31st, 2004

Well, now that the dust is slowly starting to settle from Christmas I’ve finally had the chance to put together the case that Lena got me for my computer. The main reason for the case is add more fans to the system so I can increase air flow, while also switching to low noise [...]

The Best Christmas Present…

Saturday, December 25th, 2004

Well, as the family tradition goes, we have already gone through the majority of the gift giving. Lena did a really good job this year in showering me with more DVD’s of movies I love than I know what to do with. Between helping Steve get me the entire Lethal Weapon set (all [...]

Screenshot Happy…

Tuesday, December 21st, 2004

I know, I know… I go for days I don’t post a single thing, and then I go post happy the second I either get frustrated or have something really important go on. Either way, here is a new screenshot added of my Gentoo Linux laptop, which was recently updated to Gnome 2.8.2 [...]

Kudos

Tuesday, December 21st, 2004

Oh, and a huge kudos to the people of the Jewish church in Colorado Springs who took the copies of the “New Testament” that came with the Gazette recently and gave it to christians in the community (this is the type of kindness I refer to).

<Insert Podium Here>Ok… I don’t know about you but I for one am tired of this continuous attack against Christmas. While I realize that everyone does have the freedom to believe what ever they want, that doesn’t mean that because you hear a Christmas song or here someone say Merry Christmas that your secretly [...]

Well, I have finally had the chance to start playing with a Mac. Why a Mac may you ask? Well, ever since I had heard about the Mac OSX operating system, I was very interested in experimenting with it. I, for one, was very interested in seeing what they had accomplished in [...]

Ballmerism…

Tuesday, December 14th, 2004

I love this interesting quote that I found on a recent CNN article:
“We think our software is far more secure than open-source software. It is more secure because we stand behind it, we fixed it, because we built it. Nobody ever knows who built open-source software…”
I know… I know… you can say the whole taken [...]

Third Ultrasound

Friday, December 10th, 2004

Yesterday we had another ultrasound just before the amnio, and I’ve just uploaded these as well. Unfortunately, for some reason, the print outs of these are not as clear as the ones from the OBGYN.

The Day of Tests…

Wednesday, December 8th, 2004

Well the day of tests is finally over. To give the short list the total tally was 2 ultrasounds, 1 genetic counciling session, and 1 amniocentesis. As usual the first ultrasound was at 7:00a.m., and we continued on till the completion of the amnio at about 4p.m. Fortunately, I have already posted [...]
