Well, despite my better judgement I have once again jumped down the path of trying something that just got released. Reiser4 was officially released sometime around Aug 22, and I had to jump. I quickly built a system archive, and booted the Love-LiveCDv2 to build my new filesystem. Generating the filesystem and writing tests worked like a charm, however, however my system appears to be malfunctioning:
env-update: /usr/sbin/env-update - Permission Denied source /etc/profile /usr/bin/whoami - Permission Denied make install modules_install (on kernel) ---resulted in a failure in calling "ld" (permission denied).
After some further investigation, I found that this was actually due to a snafu with my system archive and not because of Reiser4.
